Oh Sweet Succulents!

All right, now that I have caught up on some of my stamping assignments, I finally have time to start posting stuff! I generally make a whole pile of projects at a time, between the days that I work. But then there is the whole blog post writing stuff to do, and I can't always squeeze that in 😏 I will try very hard to do better!

So, I love succulents. And the Oh, So Succulent bundle. So much to play with, so many ways to use it!!

I was playing with the smoosh technique. Squish your inkpad onto a craft mat, spritz with water, then smoosh your paper (in this case, watercolor paper) into the puddle of watery ink. That is what I did with this background. But this is the second panel I smooshed into that puddle. I will show you the other one another day 😀
I used Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzazz, and Sweet Sugarplum here. And some Sahara Sand. I added some stamped and die cut greenery sticking out around some corners. And I the succulents I stamped on the main image panel were inked up in their main color, then I tapped the brush end of a marker on the stamps to add some variation in color before stamping.
I also used some die cut copy paper masks when stamping the images. Those dies made that soooo easy!

Inside, I used a sentiment from Happy Celebrations along with some succulents. That came out pretty nice too 😊

I can't wait to start sharing some of the things I learned at OnStage! Only a few more days, my friends!

Until then.....
